1. What cookie files are
Cookie files (so-called "cookies") are small text files saved on the User's end device while using the veedeck.com website and application. They are used, among other things, to maintain sessions, remember preferences, and analyse how the service is used.
2. Legal basis
The use of cookies is regulated by:
- the Act of 12 July 2024 – Law on Electronic Communications (PKE), in force since 10 November 2024 – with respect to storing and reading information on the end device,
- the GDPR – to the extent that information stored in cookies (e.g. IP address, user identifier) allows the identification of a specific person.
We inform about cookies regardless of whether they process personal data, because they interfere with the private sphere of the User's device.

4. Consent mechanism (cookie banner / CMP)
The cookie banner on veedeck.com acts as a Consent Management Platform (CMP) and follows these principles:
- Equal choice: the "Reject all" button is just as visible and just as easy to access as the "Accept all" button on the first layer of the banner.
- Opt-in: all optional consents (functional, analytics, marketing) are unchecked by default.
- No cookie walls: access to veedeck.com content is not blocked if consent to marketing cookies is refused.
- Easy withdrawal: the User can change their settings at any time via the persistent "Consent Preferences" icon, visible in the bottom-left corner of the screen on every page of the service.
5. Google Consent Mode v2
veedeck.com uses Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Limited) together with the Google Consent Mode v2 mechanism. This mechanism sends signals about the User's consent status to Google systems and allows statistical data to be modelled in the absence of consent, without violating the User's privacy. Analytics tags are loaded only after consent is given in the cookie banner.
6. Third-party cookies
Some cookies may be placed by third parties cooperating with the Controller, in particular:
- Stripe – in the payment handling process (including BLIK, Przelewy24),
- Google Ireland Limited – for analytics purposes (Google Analytics 4).
The Controller does not have full control over third-party cookies – the rules governing their processing are set out in those parties' own privacy policies.
7. Managing and withdrawing consent
The User can change their cookie preferences at any time via the settings panel in the footer of veedeck.com or through their web browser settings:
- Google Chrome — Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies.
- Mozilla Firefox — Settings → Privacy and security.
- Safari — Preferences → Privacy.
- Microsoft Edge — Settings → Cookies and site permissions.
Please note that disabling essential cookies may limit the platform's functionality (e.g. being unable to log in).
8. Changes to the Cookie Policy
The Controller reserves the right to update this Policy, in particular in connection with the implementation of new technical tools or changes in the law. The current version is published on veedeck.com along with the date of the last update.
